Introductin to e-Portfolio

The first day of Professor Andrew's English 1102 class all we done was went over the syllabus and she answered any questions that we had.  My first impression was literally "Oh my God, this class is going to suck so bad".  But, as it turns out, I really ended up enjoying this class, Ms. Andrews, the assignments, and interacting with my classmates.  It was a priviledge to get to know all of you guys and I wish you all the best of luck with whatever path you wish to pursue.  Overall, I have learned so much about writing in the past four months it is unbelievable.  My maturity level as a writer has increased tenfold and I have came to many conclusions concerning myself and my writing style.  I have realized that writing means so much more than it seems and the power of language is nothing less that amazing.  This portfolio is proving to be a lot of work to piece together, but I believe it is a good way to piece together all of the work that I have completed throughout the semester.  The continuous reflection work is a great way to read me and my style of writing.  For me, the reflections are a way for me to reflect on my thoughts, beliefs, and what has impelled me to write what I did the way I did.  On the other hand, for you all the reflections act as a gateway into my mind and help you to understand my writing process and thinking process associated with my writing.

Introduction to Inquiry Blog

Hello Everyone,

I am Todd Arnette, a Sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Originally, I am from Boone and I was raised in the mountains of North Carolina.  I have created this blog for my English class as a means to express my personal beliefs as well as my beliefs about writing.  I will be discussing the power of language and how words, whether written down on paper or heard orally, can drastically impact who you are and completely change your life.  This is my first blog ever!  Blogger will be acting as a tool being used to wrap up all of my assignments for this class.  The final product will be used as my writing portfolio.   I would love for you to join me on my journey into the world of blogging and hopefully I will inspire you in some way, shape or form.
